Three documents. Each one says who it’s for, when to send it and what you’ll need, so you can tell at a glance whether it applies to you. If you’re still not sure, ask us below — nobody should have to guess at paperwork.
One form covers both. Leave a maximum bid that we execute on your behalf, or reserve a phone line and we’ll call you when your lot comes up.
The terms every bid is placed under — buyer’s premium, payment terms, collection, and what happens to a lot after the hammer falls.
The agreement covering anything you send to auction — commission, reserves, settlement, insurance while it is in our care, and what happens to anything unsold.
Sending it back
A photo of a completed form is fine — it doesn’t need to be scanned. We’ll confirm receipt either way, so if you don’t hear back, chase us.
Attach the completed form, or just photograph it with your phone and send the picture.
For absentee and phone bids we can take the details over the phone and read them back to you.
Drop it at the gallery during preview or on sale day. We open at 8 AM on auction mornings.
Absentee and phone bids close 24 hours before the sale.That gives us time to confirm your registration and assign a phone line. After that, online bidding through the catalog stays open right up to the lot.

A proper online absentee bid form is still worth building.This help form catches people who are confused.
